Parliament considers ratifying international agreement on anti-corruption

Khartoum-The Justice and Legislation Panel at the Parliament has announced that Sudan is considering to officially join the UN anti-corruption agreement for 2013. Sudan has signed the agreement in 2005. The panel said the parliament is in the process of ratifying the agreement that will be tabled in the parliament on Tuesday.

The committee said that the agreement is very important and consistent with the national laws. The committee said that the agreement compels member states to respect the national laws. The panel said” items of the agreement preserves state’s sovereignty”.
