Trade Ministry: Opening cars importation will increase dollar prices

Khartoum-A high-level source in the ministry of trade has said that the Bank of Sudan decision to allow importation of cars is not well studied and will increase the prices of the dollars in the parallel market. The source told the Citizen in a state of anonymity that the decision will create manipulation in the hard currency, calling for not taking contradictory policies. He said that” the bank of Sudan is not the body that responsible for opening or closing the importation”

The source said that the personal importation of cars does not take place until a letter of credit is open, adding that” those who make economic decisions shall stop what he described as flip-flop on policies.
