Opposition to discuss Presidency reply on national dialogue requirements

Khartoum-The opposition political parties and powers, which take part in the national dialogue, have revealed a meeting next week to discuss the reply of the Presidency of the Republic on the requirements they presented for the First Vice President Bakri Hassan Saleh.

Member of the dialogue mechanism and Secretary General of the Nasiri Arab Socialist Party Mustafa Mahmoud has said in a statement to the Sudanese Media center that the dialogue mechanism has called for more freedoms as stated in the recent decision by the President of the Republic.

Mahmoud said that the national dialogue represents extreme strategy for them, revealing formulation of a confidence-building committee and another committee for creating favorable climate.

He said that the mechanism will push forward a proposal on cancellation of freedom-restricting laws in its first meeting with the government side in the dialogue mechanism.
