DUP washes its hands off Information Minister‘s threat to close newspapers

Khartoum-The Democratic Unions Party chaired by Dr. Jalal Yousif Al-degair has washed its hands off the recent statement by the minister of Information Ahmed Bilal in which he criticized the newspapers and threatened to close them down.
The rotating chairman of the sessions of the Political Bureau of the Democratic Unionist Party Abu Bakr Osman has told “Al-Taygeer” that he apologizes, on behalf of his party, for editors in chief, saying that the threats against the newspapers represent the national congress not the democratic unionist party that supports freedoms. He considered the statement of Ahmed Bilal as nonsense, saying that the democratic unionist party respects press and calls for more freedoms.
