Good endeavors committee affirms containment of Al-Hamar and Al-Ma’alia dispute

Khartoum-The chairman of the good endeavors committee Salim Al-Safi has affirmed containing the disputes between Al-Hamar and Al-Ma’alia tribes that broke out last Thursday and Friday. The West Darfur state legislative council has called for speeding up convocation of the reconciliation conference.
Speaking to the SMC, Al-Safi said that the recent dispute between individuals from two tribes was over grazing lands, stating that the armed forces, other regular forces and the native administrations were able to stop the violations by the two sides.
