Security suspends Al-Sayha newspaper

Khartoum-The chief of the National Security and Intelligence Service Lieutenant General Mohamed Ata has issued an order suspending Al-Sayha newspaper as of the 20th of May 2014.
The Information Department in the Sudanese Security and Intelligence Service has meanwhile issued statement in which it emphasized on freedoms and the importance of practicing it in a transparent and responsible manner.

The statement said that suspended newspaper of Al-Sayha has committed several violations and tended to denounce, more than once, some institutions and individuals without professional investigations.

The statement said that the security service had to take measures toward the comprehensive treatment of the harmful practice, unethical and irresponsible use of freedom of expressions.
