Ba’ath Arab party announces arrest of 4 members

Khartoum-The Arab Socialist Ba’ath Party has affirmed arrest of four members on Friday and Saturday, renewing adherence to his call for bringing down the regime.
The information office of the party said in a statement on Saturday that three of the party’s members were arrested on Friday evening in front of Khartoum Stadium upon distribution of leaflets and were taken to unknown place. The information office said that the fourth member was arrested on Friday morning at his home in Al-Haj Yousif following distribution of leaflets calling for the fall of the regime in Al-Haj Yousif.
On the other hand, the political committee of the national consensus forces have denounced the incidents in Khartoum University and described it as a “barbaric behavior with repressive measures”.
The opposition has called for taking the measures necessary to maintain the rights of the homeless students. The statement said that the closure of the university was followed by expelling students from dormitories has displaced the students without any consideration to those who are coming from outside Khartoum and have no means for honorable staying.
