Minawi accuses Rapid Support Forces of killing people and burning villages

Khartoum-The chairman of the Sudan Liberation Movement Mini Minawi has lauded the stance of the chairman of the Umma Party although it came after 12 years of killing, displacement and rape in Darfur. He said that the stance of Al-Mahdi came amid the silence of the Sudanese political power.
Speaking to Al-Arab, Minawi urged the political parties to adopt the same stance of Al-Mahdi, saying that the attacks by the Janjaweed on the people of Darfur are known for the international community. He said that Al-Mahdi has said the truth alone, stating that the rapid support forces kill people and burn villages and rape women in Darfur.

He denounced the measures taken against Al-Mahdi in this regard.
