Solidarity committee calls for releasing student detainees

Khartoum-The Sudanese committee for solidarity with the martyrs, wounded and detainees has called for releasing Taj-al sir Jafar, Mohamed Salah and Mumar Musa who were detained on Monday. The solidarity committee has announced support to Khartoum University students, lauding the noble stance of the teachers of the university upon the recent incidents at the university.

Head of the committee Side Yousif has affirmed wide security campaign to arrest the students and activists, saying that the National Congress has made a plan to close the entire universities.

He stressed the necessity of exposing all jihadist groups made by the ruling party, saying that the excessive violence by these groups will not deter students from asking for the just demands.

HE further denounced the court decision sentencing two students of 20 lashes.
