WARLORD PETER GATDET VIOLATED THE CEASEFIRE

This is to inform the media that warlord Peter Gatdet attacked Guit County on Sunday at 6 am violating the agreement signed in Addis Ababa to end the conflict. It should be noted that warlord Peter Gatdet said on May, 5,that he didn't believe in any Cessation of Hostilities.Therefore his attack of today is not something surprising given the nature and character of the warlord.

In today's attack, the rebels of warlord Peter Gatdet suffered heavy losses and would never attempt to return. It should be noted that Peter Gatdet is not any longer under the jurisdiction of Riek Machar and he is operating as an independent warlord fighting for himself without a political wing.

The international community should know that Peter Gatdet is an independent warlord who will not abide by the agreement signed by Riek Machar. The IGAD must therefore consider Riek Machar irrelevant because the warlord like Peter Gatdet rejected him.

Due to the attack of today, I have decided to postpone my vacation until Peter Gatdet is captured alive by Maj. Gen. Mathews Puljang. After he is captured, then, I will go for a vacation.
