China announces endeavors o increase oil investments in Sudan

Khartoum-China has announced endeavors to increase cooperation with Sudan in field of oil in accordance with a program that determines the requirements for increasing the oil production and expanding in the exploration projects, according o Charge d 'affaires of Chinese Embassy Mr. Wang Yi.

This came during a meeting with the Oil Minister Mekawi Mohamed Awad, where they discussed the stance of the Chinese investments in Sudan especially in oil sector.

The minister of oil has affirmed keenness of Sudan to create favorable investment environment, calling on China to increase its oil investments and reactivate all means that lead to increasing of oil production.

On his part, the Charge d 'affaires of Chinese Embassy to Sudan Mr. Wang Yi has affirmed that the cooperation with Sudan on oil field represents one of the pillars of relations between the two countries, pointing to the endeavors of the Chinese companies to increase cooperation in oil field for the interests of the two countries. He said that the recent visit by the oil minister to China has opened wider horizons for the flow of further Chinese capitals; lauding the efforts of Sudan to bringing the abducted Chinese back to their families.
