Minwi accuses UNMID of covering up government crimes in Darfur

Khartoum-The chairman of the Sudan Liberation Movement Mini Arko Minawi has said that Khartoum is responsible for the instability in Mali, Libya and Central African Republic.
Speaking to the Le Monde, Minawi said that President Al-Bashir has armed and harbored all these rebels.

Minawi, who has been in Paris since the beginning of the year, urged France to put pressures on the Sudanese government to stop the acts of violence. Minawi said that” there is a military escalation in Darfur”.

Minawi said that the “UNAMID has to protecting civilians and maintain peace, but there is no peace in Darfur” He accused it of not playing its role and covering up the crimes of the Sudanese government to legimitzo9e the current genocide.

He said that the free movement of the UNAMID in Darfur is restricted, and is incapable of protecting civilians from the attacks.
