The Hague-The chairman of the Sudan Liberation Movement Arko Mini Minawi has affirmed the revolution is moving toward realization its goals of democracy and freedom.
Speaking in a symposium in The Hague, Minawi said he is pleased and thankful for the former spokesperson of the UNAMID in Darfur, Ms. Aisha Al-Busairi for speaking to the international media on the severe violations in Darfur by the National Congress government and the Janjaweed militias under the silence of the international community.

Minawi accused the leadership of the joint mission in Darfur of conniving with the government, denouncing what he described as false reports on the security situations in Darfur.

Minawi has questioned the current history of Sudan as it has been written by governments to serve agendas not by academicians and historians. Minawi has described as distorted and missing many facts the history of Sudan.

He said that history speaks with pride about independence and expulsion of the English colony despite the fact that the English themselves had handed over the rule to the Sudanese people willingly after they trained the republican guards and established the institutions.

He said that the National Congress leaders speak now on the oil of the South not on the South Sudanese people. He said that Sudan is a vast country that needs more than 400 million people but those who ruled Sudan did not invest its resources for the good of Sudanese people.

Minawi has urged the Sudanese expatriates and in exile to support the revolution and continue until the goal of bringing down the regime and establishing institutions of injustice is achieved.
