Foundation conference of Republican Party elects representatives in central council

Khartoum-The foundation conference of the grassroots of the Republican Party has held a meeting in Khartoum state. The central council of the party in Khartoum state has been elected as the participants approved a draft statement that included the view of the party on the political scene especially the issues of dialogue and public freedoms.
It is to be recalled that the parties’ registrar has handed over the leadership of the party five objections made by individuals and groups known of their historical enmity with the republican thought. The objections were based on the fatwa which were directed against Mahmoud Mohamed Taha.
The party has handed over its response to the registrar of the political parties, and is waiting for the reply of the Parties Council in this regard.
Head of the preparatory committee of the party Asmaa Mahmoud Mohamed Taha has meanwhile said that the work in the Republican Party is different than in many parties as it is about awareness and suggestion of the thoughtful alternative that solves the issue of man in terms of the ethics and education, and the issue of the community based on a thoughtful view that combines both the democracy and socialism.
