Sudan allocates new agriculture lands for Jordan

Khartoum-The Jordanian Agriculture Minister Dr.Akif Al-Zabai has said that the Republic of Sudan has allocated an agricultural land of 168 thousand acres for Jordan. He said that it is close to the previous lands that was earmarked by Sudan but not utilized by Jordon.

The Minister said that during the joint meeting, an agreement has been made to import Mango from Sudan in addition to another agreement with Yemen to open the Jordanian markets before the imported Mango product.

In a meeting with representative of media organizations, the minister said the private sector was assigned to run and invest the lands given to Jordan during the meetings of the Sudanese-Jordanian agricultural committee.
