Parliamentarian calls for additional customs on unnecessary commodities

Khartoum-The deputy chairman of the parliamentary financial and economic panel at Dr. Babiker Mohamed Tom has stressed the necessity of raising the value of customs on the unnecessary imported commodities to face the surge in the exchange rate.
Speaking to the Sudanese media center, the deputy chairman of the financial committee has said that increasing the exportation commodities and rationalizing the imports is the guarantee for stability exchange rate of the dollars.
He called for giving incentives to the local producers of wheat, sugar and vegetable oils, adding that the state shall provide resources and encourage local sectors in medicines' production.
