Council to protect telecommunication consumers formed

Khartoum-The National Telecommunication Corporation has announced establishment of a council to protect the rights of consumers, and affirmed adoption to all rights of consumers with regard to service, transparency, integrity in bills, privacy of personal data of citizens at the telecommunication companies.
Addressing activities of the world consumer day, the director of the corporation Dr. Yahiya Abdalla, has said that the corporation support the sights of the consumer to obtain service equivalent to the value of the paid money. He said that the law restricts usage of the citizens' personal data without a judicial order.
He affirmed endeavors by the corporation to expand the networks to provide remote areas with services.
