Gedariff to produce 8 million sacks of sorghum

Khartoum-The Gedariff state expects that the sorghum production will go beyond 8 million bags, with one and a half million for the sesame crop. The Minister of Agriculture in the state Ahmed Osman told the Sudanese Media Center that the previous season has witnessed high productivity in some areas and low productivity in others due to the delay in the rain falls.
He further announced the determination of the state to plant 7 million acres in the new season.
