Sudanese and UN official discuss Presidential speech and peace talks


Khartoum-The Assistant to the President Brig. Abdel-Rahman Al-Sadeq discussed in a meeting with the Development and Humanitarian Affairs Coordinator, Ali Za’atari, at his office today a number of issues pertinent to the four axes of the President speech, the internal dialogue and the talks between the government and the SPLM-north sector and the need to reach a quick solution to Blue Nile, South Kordofan and Darfur.
Za’atari said that the UN has affirmed that there is a deteriorating humanitarian situation in Blue Nile and Soputh Kordofan, saying that it is better to think of reactivating the immunization campaign and to offer assistance to weapon and elderly people in the two areas. He described the meeting as good and fruitful.
