Sudanese national consensus forces describe dialogue calls as political maneuvers by ruling party

Sudanese national consensus forces The Sudanese National alliance forces have described the repeated calls for unifying the national rank as political maneuvers by the ruling party, pointing out that the regime insists on confiscating the public freedoms.

The national consensus forces said in a statement that they do not refuse productive dialogue that leads to the disintegration of the authoritarian structure of the regime and paves the way before a peaceful solution to the crisis in the country.

The national consensus forces expressed their doubt over the regime’s seriousness and credibility toward dialogue. They said that intensifying the pressures on the regime through mobilization of popular struggle is the only way to make the regime accept the conditions for dialogue.

The national consensus forces said that any serious dialogue with the regime is conditional on the cancellation of the freedom -restricting laws, the release of detainees, captives and political prisoners besides the cessation of war.

They said that the revolutionary front and the whole other political forces should be a key part of this dialogue, saying that bilateral dialogues are firmly rejected. They further said that regime should agree beforehand that dialogue will lead to a fully transitional status to end the crisis in the country.

They reaffirmed rejection to any elections that takes place under the supervision of the ruling party. They also said that the permanent constitution will not be written without a new transitional status.
They urged the Sudanese people to unify their ranks in the framework of the national alliance forces toward the drastic change that realizes the aspiration of the Sudanese people in a free and honorable life.

Furthermore, the Sudanese national consensus forces in Sudan have urged the parties to the conflict in South Sudan to resort to voice of reason and allow no opportunity to those who have special agendas at home and abroad.

They called on the parties to the dispute to accept dialogue as means for stopping the war and reaching a political agreement that achieves peace and development in the newly born state. The statement said that the stability and democracy in both Sudans are enough to realize the aspirations of the two people and to solve the pending Sudan-South Sudan issues.
