Sudan appreciates the role played by Kuwait in all fields
Khartoum-Sudan's Interior Minister, Ibrahim Mahmoud Hamid, has appreciated the role played by the State of Kuwait towards Sudan in all fields, pointing out that that Kuwait is one of the largest donor countries to the development and investment projects in the country.
during his meeting with the delegation of the Kuwaiti Red Crescent Society (KRCS) on Monday, Hamid stated that Kuwait is one of the first countries which took the initiative to provide support for victims of the recent torrential rain and floods through an airlift which included 10 aircraft loaded with nearly 200 tons of humanitarian aid, praising the active role played by KRCS in supporting charitable projects in his country.
In last August Kuwait sent an Airbridge of 10 planes to deliver a USD 2.5 million aid to Sudan's latest flood victims.
This move comes under the directives of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah
