Sudanese army announces that two Iranian warships entered its territorial waters.
Khartoum-Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) announced on Wednesday the two Iranian warships had entered Sudanese territorial waters.
SAF's spokesman, Clo. Sawarmi Khalid Saad, that two \ Iranian warships have entered Sudan’s territorial waters and were heading to dock for routine fuelling, disclosing that one of them is a destroyer and the other is a supplies vessel
Iranian warships, which regularly patrol the Red Sea, docked in October and December 2012 in Port Sudan. The first visit took place days after the bombing of a weapons factory in Khartoum. Sudanese officials at the time accused Israel of conducting the airstrike.
