In fact, we do not know whether this is the beginning of the stage of paying the price by the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, Karim Khan, for his efforts to issue arrest warrants against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Galant, and before them Russian President Vladimir Putin؟ Or is it just shameful behavior on his part and he must be held accountable and pay the price for his actions. The Presidency of the Assembly of States Parties to the International Criminal Court announced that it will conduct an "external investigation" according to an independent mechanism into allegations of misconduct attributed to the Prosecutor of the Court (harassing a female library employee). This investigation mechanism is considered completely independent from the International Criminal Court and submits its reports directly to the Assembly of States Parties, as it is the body competent to investigate such allegations.
In return, Karim Khan denied the accusations, adding that he learned with great sadness that reports of misconduct would be published publicly against him.
Whatever the case, the accusation is serious and has begun to negatively affect the court's work, as some believe that the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court should stop working until the investigations into these allegations are completed, while he insisted on continuing his work until further notice.

Thus, one of the highest judicial officials in the four corners of the globe is suffering because of the legal procedures expected against him and is struggling hard to prove his innocence!!

In conclusion, we say that it is too early and preconceived judgments are of no use. We must be patient and follow up, taking into account the presumption of innocence until proven otherwise.
