SAYINGS… SUDANESE PROVERBS A huge stone which is slinging from sky ,the old saying goes , says that it is ready to hit and smash the head of whoever says: he is of low origin or his tribe is of no importance. To this date , the huge stone is still slinging from the sky; to mean that he who disgraces himself deserves the smash. So let us join efforts to keep that stone up in its place Another sayings also speaks about a knife which is blunt, not sharp enough to slit an onion. This knife says: Iam tired and in fact fed-up with all kinds of fleshes and all sorts of meat and vegetables. My longing, the knife continues, is for human flesh .
