The Sudanese civil society organizations' network is formed outside the country to be a main affiliate and major supporter and player in civil society activities together with other civil organizations with the aim of addressing issues related to livelihood of the people of the Sudan and their quality of life in an independent and unbiased way. The role of civil society organizations is to bridge the gap between government and society and operating to transfer that society from the status of tribalism and nomadism to a status of of urbanism and civilization. The importance of civil Society organizations stems from the fact that they are closely linked to the society and a major participant in its development and progress. This can be noticed in the role civil society organizations played in the development and progress of the west (Europe and America). That role is centered in construction, development and investing in human resourc factor to reach the prosperty and progress the West now enjoying. We, as civil society organiztions, are fully aware that it is importnat to establish a network for civil society organizations outside the country , that is independent ,qualified and highly committed to issues related to people, in various wakes of life and to operate in a transparent and dedicated way.
