Khartoum, July 22 (SUNA) - The Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Resources and Irrigation at the State of Khartoum has affirmed its support for Arab investments in the state to enable investors to contribute to Arab food security. The Minister of Agriculture, Animal Resources and Irrigation in Khartoum State, Dr. Omar Abdul-Wahab praised, when he received at his office Sunday the Director General of the he Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development (AAAID) Mohamed Bin Obaid Al-Mazrowei, the AAAID efforts in promoting and developing the agricultural sector and its contribution to the transfer of modern technologies and supporting small producers in the state, stressing his ministry’s readiness to overcome the difficulties facing the AAAID investment in the agricultural field in the state of Khartoum to enable it contribute to the achievement of the Arab food security initiative from Khartoum. Al- Mazrowei stressed AAAID investment expansion in various agricultural activities, pointing out that the authority has adopted the project of contracting agriculture with the small producers in the state of Khartoum in order to provide the exported crops.
