Solidarity Committee: Government threatens families of martyrs not to celebrate first anniversary
|
Khartoum-The Sudanese Solidarity Committee has announced the arrest of seven activists including five members who were planning to celebrate the first anniversary of the martyrs of September uprising. The Solidarity Committee has also announced the arrest of tens of citizens in Wad-al-Hilu area in Gedarif state. The Solidarity Committee has affirmed the rise in the human rights violations in the country, saying that the government is exercising wide threats and pressures on the families of the martyrs to force them not to celebrate the first anniversary.
