Sudanese Parliament reviews 70 government regulations

Khartoum-The Legislation and Justice Panel at the Sudanese Parliament will review 70 regulations handed over Speaker of the Parliament Al-Fateh Izz-Eddin by government councils, corporations and ministries to consider whether they cope with the higher laws or not.

The Parliament received on Wednesday around 69 regulations by bank of Sudan, the national council of medicines and poisons, ministries of Foreign Affairs and Justice.

The parliament has made directives to refer these regulations to the legislation and justice committee and other specialized panels to consider whether they are coping or opposing the higher laws, urging other ministries to table their regulations before the one-month deadline set by the parliament.
