Trade cooperation committee to hold its first meeting

Khartoum-The committee for implementation of the commercial cooperation agreement between Sudan and South Sudan held its first meeting at the premises of the trade ministry on Sunday. The committee is chaired by the Sudanese minister of trade Osman Al-sharif to follow up the implementation of the agreements..

The minister said in a statement that the committee encourages trade cooperation on with South Sudan state and facilitates flow of commodities, infrastructures and services.

He said that the two parties have signed a number of agreements including a preferential trade agreement, prevention double taxation and establishment of a joint businessmen council.
