Arrangements underway to link government institutions with single network

Khartoum-The Minister of Science and Telecommunication, Dr. Tahani Abdalla, has called on telecommunications companies to cooperate with the state to reduce the electronic crime rate, and to contribute in developing the laws in this respect.
The Minister has stated the coming stage will witness a network connection of all government institutions in a single network.
Addressing a forum organized by the Sudanese Consumer Society on the positive role of the telecommunication companies, Dr. Tahani Abdalla said that the ministry is endeavoring, in collaboration with the telecommunication companies, to transfer the society into digital.
In the meantime, she denied what has been attributed to her that she wants to stop the "whatsapp" services, reaffirming the ministry's endeavors to allow the entire approved applications into reality.
