The new US Envoy to Sudan and South Sudan meets with the leaders of Sudanese Revolutionary Front
Khartoum-The new Special Envoy to Sudan and South Sudan, Ambassador Donald Booth, met with the Command Council of Sudan Revolutionary Front (SRF) and the two parties discussed the political, security and humanitarian situations, besides the political comprehensive solution for all issues following failure of all partial solutions in achieving peace and stability.
According to SRF Spokesperson and Media Secretary, Abul Gasim Imam, that leadership explained its position and vision for a comprehensive solution and strongly refused the partial solutions, disclosing that the meeting, held at an undisclosed location, touched on the failure of African Union - United Nations Mission in Darfur (UNAMID) in Darfur to protect civilians and the negative role in helping to improve the humanitarian situation, similar to Khartoum’s strategy of placing obstacles before opening safe corridors for the delivery of humanitarian aid and food to those affected in areas of conflict in Darfur, South Kordofan and the Blue Nile.
The meeting stressed the importance of the real peace that would end the war, war crimes and crimes against humanity and civilians and bring justice.
SRF emphasized the important of justice for sustainable peace and vowed to continue talks with the US envoy along with regional and international organizations that are seized on the issue of Sudan to reach a comprehensive political solution to end the suffering of the Sudanese people.
