Title: The Poetes's Dream (A short story) حلم الشاعرة-قصة قصيرة محمد رحمة

She recalls her memories of being little woman. She rejected about 32 men requested her for marriage . She was very brilliant, beautiful and ambitious but unfortunately arrogant and peg-headed at the same time . Her parents failed to enforce her to accept the marriage notion.
"why do you escape from marriage idea baby? Father asked sadly , but every time she ignores him , her mother keeps crying all the time and criticizes her for being arrogant and obstinate , they were usually urged her to be obliged with this inevitable matter.
A lot of women in my country refuse the idea of being married thinking that the life time will keep them as they are always young ,but the fact is not .!! suddenly find themselves in a "T" sign road actually blocked from all the directions and again they are in "U" turn sign where there is no other way to go back and request a single one from those unique men.
The time has passed away dear ladies and now our great poetess (Rima) seems to be in the ocean of dreams .
"How do I love thee?
Let me count the ways".
Her poetry is really great and emotional and always being appreciated by the people. It own so many prizes in and outside the country .
This time she searches badly for such a single man what ever he can without any obligations and even to be as a second wife to him. She cries her 48 springs of sadness while her parents passed away with their strong sorrow , she cries her arrogance and sadness like Dr.Faustus last days before Mephistopheles came and took his soul after serving him for 40 years ....
The great poetry written by her is really emotional and sad but fill with optimism but does it help to stop such more arrogance of today's girls towards making relationship with the marriage notion? That was Rima's faIlure .
She passed away while she s writing this sad stanza:
If my days get back..
I would worship you..
I would love you as a prince..
Of course you are
The real prince..
You would never touch a thing
I Would serve you like a servant.
But I would be like poet Elizabeth Barrett says;
"How do I love thee..?
Let me count the ways"
