salam ya Gaafar, Sadig, Jawahir and Aisha

As it turned out my accounts seem to have been under some ghostly powers.
My computer itself is crashing every now and then for no apparent reason
I minimized my visits to all the virtual places linkdin, facebook, academia.edu and other sites
today is my first day back with intention to close those accounts, not that there is anything interesting there, but the sheer fact that my computer is crashing often, is really not an encouraging sign.
any way in the cleanup process i found some long lost or forgotten items and some resources that i posted today.
I will be coming back to check on you and all our diligent fellows on the English post, like a habboba would and read the good stuff.
I did miss you all
stay well
asma

والعود أسمةÙ

Welcome back, no matter what the reasons were....
I have reason
for crashing computers and the like, being from the thirdest
world among the third worlds on earth...but you should be better off...
However, I rejoice in seeing your name and Jawahir's, being among the few who
keep us alive by initiating new topics...
Stay around..
We love you all.

What about Women's Day?
You ought to at least mention/remember it, ladies!
So best wishes

Salam Ya Mustafa
Thanks for the reminder (smiley).
I used to celebrate but for a few years now, it became just a day when people (including abusers of women )
thought that women should be content that they have an international day.
We will get a few congrats and a few declarations and we should shut up after that.
In the USA we have a whole month called "Women's history month), who thought women have a history?
However THIS month is turning to be like THAT day. I am in a pessimistic mood, it sounds like "suffer all year
just to get sympathy on that occasion".
I will go for a "Women's Century". That may get politicians on notice.
That may get justice systems in India, Sudan, USA, and the whole planet on notice that "people called women"**
Are out to get it. "It" is that illusive human treatment.
BUT, when a brother like you raise the flag, I know that at least with a few people we are getting it.
Have a very wonderful Women's Day.
** People Called Women is the name of a feminist bookshop in Toledo.

that I am know the 'icon'...
Asma and Jawahir are still young.

So..
we expect a poem or a painting or some refreshing gesture from you1
