Dear all:
Bloomsday is approaching; it is a day to celebrate James Joyce, the artist who annoyed many and took a few to his dim corners.
His renowned Ulysses left one of two impressions. You may agree with Orson Scott Card who said,
“Ulysses, obviously. It was an elaborate prank, and our supposed intellectual elite continue to fall for it.”
Or, you may join Mustafa Mudathir and a few crazy readers and believe William Faulkner when he said , “You should approach Joyce's Ulysses as the illiterate Baptist preacher approaches the Old Testament: with faith.”
You are entitled to an opinion, SO JOIN US!

Dr. Khalifa:
I am really sorry and saddened that this post sunk to the bottom. Glad to be joined by you as an admirer of the ingenuity of Joyce.
