Sudanese Foreign Ministry urges South Sudan to stop supporting rebels

December 15, 2014-Khartoum-The Sudanese Foreign Ministry urged, on Sunday, South Sudan state to take the practical and immediate steps to stop sheltering and supporting Sudanese rebel movements, affirming that the interest of the two countries should be based on clear and sound basis.

The spokesperson of the ministry of foreign affairs Yousif Al-Kordofani has said that South Sudan state is still providing the rebel movements with logistic and material support a matter that contradicts the required spirit for the relationship between the two countries.

He revealed that the government has documented information about the said violations, calling on South Sudan state to maintain the relationship, and honor the pledges it made with regard to stop supporting these movements.
