Sudan’s Foreign Minister calls for EU to develop its relations with the country

Khartoum-SudaneseOnline-Sudan’s Foreign Minister, Ali Karti, has called for more development between Sudan and European Union (EU) during the Italian leadership of the EU, adding that they are looking forward to increasing the EU's development cooperation projects in Sudan during the presidency of Italian EU High Representative for Security and Foreign Policy Federica Mogherini
It came during Sudan’s Foreign Minister meeting with Mogherini on the sidelines of the Ministerial Conference in Rome for the Khartoum initiative to combat smuggling and trafficking in human beings in the Italian capital of Rome.
For her part, Mogherini stressed EU support for the process of the national dialogue that is being held in Sudan, hoping to contribute to the stability of Sudan so as to be able to play a regional role with the territory and among its neighbors, praising Sudan's efforts to bring the parties in both Libya and South Sudan.
