A summit between Egypt’s President and his counterpart South Sudanese in Cairo

Khartoum-SudaneseOnline-South Sudanese President Salva Kiir Mayardit arrived on Thursday in the Egyptian Cairo at the head of a high-level ministerial delegation for a two-day visit, where he will meet with Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fattah al-Sisi. Kiir’s visit is the first to Egypt since al-Sisi took power.
South Sudan’s foreign minister, Barnaba Marial Benjamin revealed that the visit comes in response to invitation extended to the president by the president of Egypt and his government, explaining that the two parties will have the opportunity to hold frank and open discussions on bilateral matters.
"The discussions will focus mainly on trade and investment in agriculture, health, power and electricity and education”, he added.
