He the session of the National Assembly was adjourned until Monday due to the difference between the deputies of the National Congress over the amendment proposal. A number of the deputies withdrew from the closed-door meeting of the bloc on Tuesday after the closure of discussion by the head of the bloc Mahdi Ibrahim.

Deputy Mahdi Akrat has revealed movements to collect signatures to overthrow Mahdi Ibrahim. Describing Ibrahim as the” dictator”, Akrat said that the purpose of this tendency is to cancel the role of parliament and to silence voices. He warned that the coming days may witness further differences.

The amendment states to discuss statements of the ministers through ######### of the sectors combined due to the parliament custom that each minister has to present his statement before the council.

In press statements upon the session, Al-Amin said that the amendment opposes article 91 that stipulates summoning the ministers to present their statements before the parliament
