This is to alert all units and all SPLM/A personnel of a massive disinformation campaign that is currently going on, so that nobody believes this lies and fabrication. Example of these lies, fabrication and disinformation include the following recent ones
there are two messages that are now circulating and supposed to have been by chairman and c-in-c of SPLM/A one even has a ordination number 011/10/2004 this message is addressed to CDR. Salva Kiir ® Cdr. Riek Machar, ® Cdr. James Wani/ all SPLM-LC members. In it I am alleged to be briefing those addressed about my recent long trip to USA, UK, Europe etc. of course I did not write such a message and there is no such a message in our signal net. Somebody or a group forged and circulated it in Nairobi and the Internet.
Another message circulated in the Internet alleged that the chairman’s wife was arrested by the British police and the custom in London for having 3.5 million US dollars on her. Of course there is no where she could get such money and there was no such arrest. Nobody in this world moves with such amount of money as that would need several briefcases. It is the same campaign of lies, disinformation and fabrication to discredit the chairman and the movement. However those carrying this vicious campaign of lies made the mistake to involve the British government (police/custom) to be the one that made the alleged arrest. Friends of the movement in the UK raised the issue with the British Government and the issue is now being investigated as a criminal case. It is not difficult to trace the origination and those fabricated this empty lies will be found out easily and exposed.
a third fabrication is a message that is alleged to have been written by Equatorian officer in the movement warning none Equatorians to leave or else and a lot of other rubbish in that message. Of course this message was not written by Equatorian in the movement. It is very clear from the language used and the chaotic mannerism. It is simply a part of the same lies, disinformation and fabrication being churned out by the same circle of disgruntled people with a dubious political agenda
a forth disinformation and lies circulating in Nairobi and the internet is the services of fabrication concerning comrade Salva Kiir and the chairman allegation that, there is a confrontation between the chairman and the deputy chairman. Of course there is no such a confrontation and there is no reason that there should be. It is only lies, rumors, and fabrication intended to incite. But I want to assure all that there is no such thing and I am writing this message to expose that they are not true. The lies and disinformation including the following:
a) One such lie is that some Equatorian met the chairman in Nairobi about the alleged message of Equatorians referred to above and the chairman is alleged by this lie told the Equatorian leaders that the letter was written by Cdr. Salva Kiir, of course this is a blatant lie. That is not how the movement works and we have never worked like this for the last 21 years. The lies are created with the hope differences between the two of us. All should simply dismiss to what it is, a lie.
b) Another is that there was a meeting in Nairobi chaired by the chairman involving members of SPLM-LC and some military commanders. It is alleged that in the meeting the chairman announced that Cdr. Salva Kiir will be arrested, dismissed and replaced by Cdr. Nhial Deng as number two, and this is course a transparent lie. To give it some spices, it is alleged that in that meeting those who oppose the alleged dismissal were Cdr. Kuol Manyang, Cdr. Malik Agar, Cdr. Elijah Malok and Cdr. James Oath, first if all there was no such a meeting leave alone the allege discussion taken. The only meeting that took place involved only six people who were briefed by the chairman on the mission they were to undertake to neighboring country. These were Cdr. Nhial Deng, Cdr. Pagan Amum, Cdr. James Oath,…..(texts missing) …
c) …(texts missing)…and met Salva Kiir, the rumormongers on the leaning about the arrival of Cdr. Pieng in Yei and his meeting with Cdr. Salva Kiir fabricated yet more stories. They alleged the bodyguards of Cdr. Salva Kiir wanted to arrest Cdr. Pieng Deng Kuol by then Cdr. Salva Kiir refused. Again another white lie Cdr. Peing Deng and Cdr. Salva Kiir left for his command of third front without any incident as should.
All the above are as stories and lies, I want here to alert all units that there is absolutely no basis for all the above stories. There is no arrest and there is no dismissal of Cdr. Salva Kiir and the chairman never had this in his mind all, the chairman has worked with Cdr. Salva Kiir together for the last 21 years and such cannot happen. It is only the wishful thinking of those who are praying for something bad to happen the SPLM/A as we enter into the new era of peace. Nothing will happen to Salva Kiir and nothing happen to SPLM/A . Those hopping for bad things are far away from the movement and have never been members of the SPLM/A or have deserted the SPLM/A. nobody should listen to them.
all SPLM/A units are to remain vigilant and united behind their historical leadership which both the C-in-C and the chief of general staff and nobody should be allow to divide the movement.

Hello Dear ,
Many thanks for your appreciated contribution, which enlightening us with such necessary analysis issued by Mr. John Garang / SPLM/A' Chairman about the recent spreading for a lot of fabricated accusations against SPLM/A , which are purposely aiming to misguide Sudanese community about SPLM/A & its' leadership ..
Although we don't having any acknowledgement whether such message has been published in familiar Press, we can dare to expressing our belief in its' credibility due to rational narration as well as similarity with other statements used to be issued by Leader: John Garang .
It's obvious that the $. 3.5 million ' allegation case isn't the serious one whence comparing the other fabricated allegations !! This is truly reflecting that the Anti-liberation group will not get rid of such embarrassments in order to disgruntle SPLM/A
Hopefully, the leadership of SPLM/A are well acquainted with the sick environment that they are working in as long as they possessing necessary awareness to dealing with such lies in rational manners ..

لك الشكر على نقل هذه المعلومات ، والشعب السوداني يثق بمناضليه وبقيادة الحركة ويعرف قدر هؤلاء الرجال الذين ناضلوا طيلة هذه السنين لاقتلاع حقوق الشعب السوداني واسترداد كرامته من الذين اعتدوا عليها ، ولم يبق للمتربصين بهذا الشعب غير إطلاق هذه الشائعات ، وهي تكشف حقيقتهم ،،
