The College Of Commerce & Economics opened in September 1993 in a special-purpose building with up to date technology. The College is one of the modern and comprehensive business schools in the region, and aims to become an international center of excellence in business and management education. Current enrollment is approximately 2000 students, and an MBA degree will be offered starting September 2004.

Expansion of the student body requires the addition of faculty for January and August 2005 in the following disciplines and ranks:

Full Professor
Accounting, Economics, Finance, Management, Business Communication

Assistant/Associate Professor
Accounting, Economics, Finance, Information Systems Management, Marketing, Business Statistics, Operation Management

Applicants must have an earned doctoral degree (Ph. D) from a recognized university in the relevant discipline, teaching excellence and a creditable research and publication record. In addition, for the Accounting positions, professional certification is desirable. New faculty will be expected to use the newest teaching methods and utilize computer-based technology.

The language of instruction in the College of Commerce and Economics is English; therefore fluency in English is essential. Previous international experience in teaching non-native speakers of English is desirable.

In addition to competitive tax-free salaries, the University provides the faculty with annual air tickets, free and furnished housing, free medical care and dental care at a nominal cost in government hospitals and clinics, and end of contract gratuity.
