A proposal for a wider discussion
&
Invitation to an online meeting
Dear brothers and sisters in the Diaspora,
I herewith would like to invite you to an online meeting to discuss the possibilities of cooperation among Sudanese Diaspora organizations in west Europe with regard to issues of peace, development, democracy and human rights in the Sudan.
As you all know that Sudan is on a verge of stepping into a new political era following the recently signed Nefasha peace agreement between SPLM and the government of Sudan.
There are still a lot of tasks awaiting civil society organizations to perform, particularly with regard to the development, peace, regain of democracy and the guarantees for the respect of human rights. These are important issues upon which we could as Diaspora organizations in west Europe line up and eventually coordinate our efforts to push possible realization of these objectives.
Following the Darfur conference in The Hague which NSON (New Sudan Organizations network ) has recently organized in The Hague, there was a consensus among the audience of that conference to call for a meeting of all Diaspora Sudanese organizations in west Europe to line up and cooperate a round the above mentioned issues.
Hence I am calling all Sudanese Diaspora organizations in Europe to an online meeting on Saturday 23 July 2005.

The meeting would be also a good opportunity for Sudanese Diaspora organizations to learn more about each others and discuss on the proposed agenda.
We hope in a later phase to hold an official online conference about the possibilities of cooperation around issues of democracy, peace and development in Sudan.
Finally we would like to conclude this activity by calling for a physical conference in The Hague, the Netherlands whereby we would concretely delineate areas and means of cooperation in this regard.

الاخ احمد سند شكرا لك
اعتقد ان فكرة التنسيق بين المنظمات السودانية فى غرب اوروبافكرة طيبة، و كان
يجب ان تتم من فترة طويلة، فالتحية للقائمين/ات على امر هذا المشروع فى NSON
و تجربة شبكة NSON فى هولندا جديرة بالاستصحاب و التطبيق على مستوى البلدان الاوروبية الاخرى، ثم بين هذه البلدان. انا متأكدة ان العديد من المنظمات و الافراد فى بريطانيا سيتحمسون و يتحمسن للفكرة و اتمنى ان يدور نقاش واسع حولها.
سيكون مفيدا اذا تم توفير ترجمة للدعوة

Dear Abdel Magid,
That is very great, I cherished very much your effort in translating the proposal into Arabic. It is very fine translation. I hope all concern people in West Europe to be able to examine the proposal and take it in consideration. Furthermore any contribution in that regard from any person will be appreciated.
