The Eriterian people deserve abetter deal

The proposed merger between Garaangs SPLM and SAF was advocated by certain elements which have links with some regional powers which feared that the presence of Sudanese opposition in Eriteria might produce a close cooperation and coordination between Sudanese and the Eriterians in case the Sudanese opposition captures power.
The intention was intially to propose something attractive enough for the Eriterain that they can concentrate on it rather than influncing the IGAD peace talks between Garaang and Albashir sgovernment.Indeed Eriteria became so preoccupied for two years with ABu khalid clash with the pro Eriterian elements within SAF.That preoccupation turned to an obesession with an impossible merger between SPLM And SAF.
True gratitude to the eriterian people who supported the struggle of our people for democracy and progress is to reach aclear understanding between the Ruling party in Eriteria ,and SPLM _the rulers of Southern Sudan as well as the major Northern Sudanese political parties for close political coordination and mutual cooperation.
