Talk to the accomodation officer of the University, he or she may be able to give you some properties near the university.Otherwise, if you know the university post code, you may "google" (esate agencies in Bradford)(choose lettings and not mortgages or buying!) and look for a flat/house to rent in the same post code area near the univeristy and then phone the agency to agree(phone numbers in the web).The best and cheapest option is throught the university accomodation offcer. generally, Bradford is not a popular city and and rent is genrally relatively much cheaper han elsewhere in the UK.So,if you get there anytime time you will soon get a palce to live in!!In the first one or two days you may need to stay in a hotel(or the cheaper- so called bed and breakfast-£20-30)then go to find a a prpoert (ask for Bradford high street)then look for estate agents as soon as possible.They will take you to visit and chosse for yourself, this what I would, do as often you do not like the accomodation if you did not see for youself!. You should be able to know exactly where the flat/house is from the university if you use the post codes and check on a route website like the AA.Unfortunately, I live 4-5 hours away from Bradford-in london- and this all I can help you with.
