Quote: الترخيص لدواء جديد يقضي على السرطان بشكل نهائي حسيمة سيتي أعلنت هيئة الغذاء والدواء الأمريكية “FDA”، عن إجازة أول دواء في العالم يمكنه معالجة مرض السرطان من منبعه وأصله وللكبار والصغار، بحسب ما أفاد مفوض الهيئة الحكومية، لكن ارتفاع سعره قد يشكل عائقا حقيقيا أمام المصابين. وجرى إخضاع مصاب بالمرض يدعى بوب بيري “60 عامًا” للعلاج الجديد في المستشفى، وفقاً لصحيفة “إكسبريس” البريطانية. وذكرت الصحيفة أن بوب هو واحد من 12 مريضًا خضعوا للعلاج الجديد على مستوى العالم، وجسمه الآن خال من المرض تمامًا. ويعتمد عقار “فيتراكفي” “Vitrakvi” على معالجة الطفرات الوراثية للأورام السرطانية، بغض النظر عن نوع المرض أو مكان نشأته. وقال مفوض الهيئة الأمريكية سكوت غوتليب إن “التصديق على إجازة وطرح هذا الدواء، خطوة مهمة لعلاج السرطان، لأنه يعالجه من منبعه، ويعالج أساس جينات الأورام السرطانية أيا كان موقع منشئها في جسم الإنسان”. وأكد غوتليب أن العقار الجديد سوف يساعد مرضى السرطان في الحصول على العلاج المناسب، حيث يساهم عقار “فيتراكفي” في علاج أشخاص يعانون من أورام سرطانية مختلفة، ولكن يمتلكون طفرات وراثية مشتركة. وقال رئيس مركز تطوير الأدوية المبكر في مركز “ميمورال سلوان كيترينج” للسرطان في نيويورك، الدكتور ديفيد هايمان: “تقليديا كان يتم علاج السرطان بناء على أساس مصدر الورم السرطاني، لكن حاليا سيكون العلاج لأي مكان في الجسم لأنك تعالج الجين الأصلي الذي تسبب في ظهور الورم”. دواء للأغنياء فقط ورغم حالة التفاؤل التي أطلقها الإعلان عن العقار الجديد، إلا أن أسعار تسويقه مستقبلا تبقى عالية جدا، حيث نقلت شبكة NBC الأمريكية عن شركة “Bayer” المصنعة للأدوية أن أسعار هذا العقار ستكلف أكثر من 393 ألف دولار سنويا لكل مريض أي ما يزيد عن 370 مليون سنتيم، فيما ستكلف صيغته المخصصة للأطفال ما قيمته 11 ألف دولار شهريا. *** المصدر :- حسيمة سيتي ،
