فاز الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي بولاية رئاسية ثالثة مدتها 6 سنوات بنسبة 89.6% من إجمالي أصوات الناخبين أي ما يعادل 39 مليون صوت، وقد أشارت الهيئة الوطنية للانتخابات في مصر أن انتخابات الرئاسة 2023 حظيت بنسبة التصويت الأعلى في تاريخ مصر حيث بلغت نسبة المشاركة 66.8%، ومن المقرر أن تبدأ الولاية الثالثة للرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي من اليوم التالي لانتهاء ولايته الحالية ما يعني منتصف عام 2024 وفقًا للموعد الأساسي لإجراء الانتخابات قبل أن يتم تقديمها لديسمبر الحالي.
وقد ألقي الرئيس عبد الفتاح السيسي كلمة لجموع الشعب المصري بعد فوزه بالانتخابات حيث أعرب في كلمته عن مدي سعادته بمشهد اصطفاف المصريين في الاستحقاق الانتخابي الرئاسي، مما يعكس لمن هم في داخل وخارج مصر حيوية وفعالية الشعب المصري. وقد أشار إلى أن اصطفاف المواطنين للمشاركة في المشهد الانتخابي لم يعبر فقط عن اختيارهم لرئيسهم بل يعبر للعالم أجمع عن رفضهم للحرب الغير الإنسانية التي تشهدها الحدود الشرقية لمصر بما تمثله من تهديد للأمن القومي المصري بشكل خاص وللقضية الفلسطينية بشكل عام.
وقد استقبل الرئيس السيسي منافسيه الثلاثة في الانتخابات في قصر الإتحادية الرئاسي وهم: المرشح الرئاسي فريد زهران رئيس الحزب المصري الديمقراطي الاجتماعي، والمرشح الرئاسي عبد السند يمامة رئيس حزب الوفد والمرشح الرئاسي حازم عمر رئيس حزب الشعب الجمهوري..، وقد أشاد الرئيس المصري بأداء منافسيه في العملية الانتخابية على النحو الذي يثري التعددية والديمقراطية في المشهد السياسي المصري، كما أكد الرئيس السيسي على أن الفائز الحقيقي في الانتخابات هي مصر نظرًا لما شهدته العملية الانتخابية من مستويات مشاركة غير مسبوقة بما يعكس وعي الشعب المصري.
وقد تلقي الرئيس السيسي التهنئة من معظم زعماء العالم لفوزه بولاية رئاسية جديدة، إذ قدم رئيس السلطة الفلسطينية محمود عباس التهنئة متمنيًا للرئيس المصري التوفيق لما فيه مصلحة مصر والأمة العربية كما أشاد الرئيس محمود عباس بالدور المصري الداعم والمساند للشعب الفلسطيني وقضيتهم، وقد ذكرت وكالة الأنباء القطرية أن نائب الأمير تميم بعث برقية تهنئة للرئيس السيسي لفوزه بالانتخابات متمنيًا دوام العلاقات الأخوية بين الدولتين، كما نشر الموقع الرسمي للكرملين برقية تهنئة مقدمة من الرئيس الروسي بوتين لنظيره المصري مؤكدًا فيه على أن فوزه في السباق الانتخابي دليلًا واضحًا على الاعتراف الواسع بما يبذله من مجهودات لحل المشكلات الاجتماعية والاقتصادية والخارجية كما أعرب عن مدي امتنانه لدور الرئيس السيسي في تعزير الشراكة الاستراتيجية الروسية المصرية.
وقد شهدت انتخابات الرئاسة 2023 أكبر مشاركة للناخبين عبر التاريخ مما عكس الاصطفاف الوطني الكبير لأفراد الشعب المصري مع الإشارة إلى أن أحداث غزة الحالية قد أثرت ايجابيًا على المشاركة الشعبية للمواطنين في الانتخابات لإدراك أفراد الشعب خطورة تداعيات هذه الحرب على الأمن القومي المصري وعلى مستقبل القضية الفلسطينية.
