على حسابه بتويتر قال مساعد وزير الخارجيّة الأميركي للشؤون الإفريقية، تيبور ناجي، أنه أجتمع مع ممثلين عن الاتحاد الإفريقي والأمم المتحدة والاتحاد الأوروبي وفرنسا وألمانيا والمملكة المتحدة والنروج "لتنسيق الجهود بهدف حضّ" الأطراف "على إيجاد اتفاق بأسرع وقت ممكن حول حكومة انتقالية" تكون "انعكاساً لإرادة السودانيين".
وكتب ناجي على تويتر: "رحّبنا مع شركائنا بالاتفاقات الأخيرة" بين المجلس العسكري الانتقالي والمعارضة المدنية "في ما يتعلق بالمؤسسات الجديدة".
وأضاف: "عبّرنا أيضا عن قلقنا حيال أعمال العنف الأخيرة من جانب قوات الأمن ضد المتظاهرين"، داعيا القادة العسكريين إلى "السماح بالتظاهرات السلمية وإلى محاسبة المسؤولين عن العنف".
وأكّد أيضاً أن ممثلي البلدان الذين حضروا إلى واشنطن ناقشوا أيضا الدعم الذي سيُقَدّم إلى الحكومة المستقبلية بقيادة مدنيّة في السودان.

Reps from the AU, UN, EU, Ethiopia as the chair of IGAD, Germany, France, the UK and Norway committed to coordinating efforts to encourage the TMC and FFC coalition to reach an agreement ASAP on an interim govt that is truly civilian-led and reflects the will of the Sudanese people
We and our partners welcomed the recent agreements between the TMC and FFC on new governing institutions, called for an immediate resumption of talks and discussed ways to support the standing up of a civilian-led government
We also expressed concern about the recent violence directed by security forces against protesters, and agreed to call for the TMC to allow peaceful protests and hold accountable those responsible for recent violence.
I emphasized U.S. respect for the leadership of the African Union and attendees expressed full support of the AU’s efforts in line with its April 30 Peace and Security Council Communiqué, including the June 30 final deadline for a transition to a civilian-led government
We also discussed ways to support a civilian-led interim govt in the future to implement the political and economic reforms and institution building needed for a stable transitional period leading to free and fair elections in #Sudan, and to facilitate economic growth and prosperity
