 من اجل توحيد اتخاذ القرار ....سلفاكير يصدر قرارا بالغاء تعيين مجلس ادارة مؤسسة النيل للبترول

اصدر الفريق سلفاكير ميارديت النائب الأول لرئيس الجمهورية رئيس حكومة جنوب السودان قرارا رئاسيا يقضي بالغاء الامر الرئاسي رقم (1) لسنة 2006 بالتصديق علي تعيين مجلس ادارة مؤسسة النيل للبترول وذلك في ضوء التطورات الجديدة بشأن المؤسسة وفي اعقاب المشاورات التي تمت في هذا الخصوص مع اعضاء حكومة جنوب السودان. ووجه القرار وزارة الصناعة والتعدين بحكومة جنوب السودان لاتخاذ الاجراءات اللازمة لتنفيذ هذا القرار.
تشير (سونا ) الي ان مؤسسة النيل للبترول أنشأتها الحركة الشعبية خلال فترة الحرب وتضطلع بمهام الترويج والتسويق والتنقيب عن البترول بالجنوب بجانب اعمال اخري تتعلق باستخراج وانتاج النفط بصورة منفردة او بالاتفاق مع شركات اخري متخصصة في ذات المجال .

كل يوم ينزل اخبار شى من السفارة وشى من الجرايد
بل وصل بيهو الحال ينزل بيان من قوات الشعب المسلحة
واها ناس السفارة عاوزين يردوا ليهو الجميل ويرشحهو للجالية
اقترح للاخ بكرى يعمل قسم خاص باسم اخبار وبيانات من السفارة السودانية
وغريبة يشيل ةينزل الاخبار فى القسم داك وكفاناشر السفارات

As usual, Slava Kiir Mayardit has been blackmailed by the NIF into taking the worong decision. Garang would not have done that. Why should the NIF cabal be allowed to steal the petroleum for their private pockets? Does not Salva know that the income of the oil is kept in Malaysia in the private accounts of al-Bahir, Ali Osman and Awad al-Jaz? Some of that incme is kept for the rainy day, part of it goes to international terrorism, and maintaining private armies like the Islamic PDF and the killer Janjaweed?

I have worked as an economist in the General Petroleum Corporation since the time of its inception till 1990. We were group of young Sudanese professionals, and workers who were dedicated to produce, and develop of our oil resources in Sudan. Still vivid in my memory the long hours, the week end work in the newly established Marketing Research Unit, with Mosses Macar Acheik Ader, and Iman Zein that we spent to follow the development in the international Oil indusry, and to open the clues of the trade contracts, and to prepare working agenda for our seniors in GPC to negotiate oil contracts. Like many Sudanese patriots, and professionals, I have been fired from my job while I was in scholarship oversas in 1990. At the moment, Many important issues became confidential, and secretive about oil industry, and oil contracts in Sudan. Neither former unelected parliaments, nor the current un elected parliament, are able to get simple ind formation about our oil contracts from Awad Aljaz.The lack of accountability, and transparency in oil industry in Sudan, should be a major concern to all of us as a Sudanese.
SPLM failed miserably in addressing the issue of reform, and accountability in the Ministry of
Energy.Salva Kiir should pressurize NIF to open its files about oil industry, demanding with other patriotic Sudanese parties, and professional Sudanese associations, the immediate, and unconditional return of all professionals and workers who have been dismissed in Ministry of Energy. Without that Salva,
and SPLM would be doomed,

Dear Charles
Itis sad that issue of accountability, and transparency in the oil indusry, and Ministry of Energy has been swept under the rug. Apart from the skirmishes over who is going be the minister of Energy, and the criticism of the hiring practices in the Ministry of Energy, I have never heard strong, and consistent voices which address the crisis, and the challenges face the oil sector in Sudan. During the 1980s, I co- authored with young professionals a comprehensive study about oil agreements in Sudan, focusing mainly on Chevron agreement, and a second study about how to determine the domestic prices of petroleum products. This studies have been adopted later on by the Professional association of the General Petroleum Corporation, and the Professionals,and Employees Union. Some progressive Sudanese parties adopted the studies, and has been published in some news papers in 1986. I DO NOT SEE A SERIOUS DEBATE ABOUT THE FUTURE OF OIL SECTOR IN SUDAN TODAY. My friend Macar Acheik Ader,who was the only senior Southern Sudanese in the Ministry of Energy told me few months ago that he tried without success to meet with Lam Akol to present to him his ideas about the Ministry of Energy.
Our future is at stake. The un elected members of SPLM, and NDA in the current parliament should speak up demanding the transparency, and accountability in Ministry of Energy, and the immediate return of all professionals, and workers who have been politically dismissed after NIF's coup. Honest journalists like Warag, Amal Abbas, Al- Saraj should also write about this issue. Immam Alsadig Almahdi should pay attention to this issue. After all Charles, Sudan belong to us, to we need to talk , write, provide accurate information about the destruction of this vital sector in Sudan, and provide
solutions. Regards
