Election Day is fast approaching. STAND Canada has compiled information on the Darfur-related policy stances and commitments of Canada's national political parties and of MP candidates so that you can make an informed vote on January 23.
Official Party Stances
The Conservative Party, New Democratic Party, and Green Party completed STAND's Darfur questionnaire, while the Liberals instead provided STAND with their Sudan-specific platform.

Candidates' Stances
STAND sent a questionnaire to all candidates in ridings in which party leaders, and ministers, critics, parliamentary secretaries, and committee members in areas relevant to foreign policy, are competing.
STAND also sent questionnaires to candidates in whose ridings a constituent contacted us to express an interest in his or her candidates' positions on Darfur.
