A leading factory for Oil and Gas Equipments based in Nile River Stated – Atbara City, It is the first factory specialist for producing Oil and Gas equipments in the Sudan and Africa. We looking to recruit professional and experience candidates to the position:
Sales and Marketing Engineer
Job Summary:
Marketing engineers meet with customers and explain technical products in services with the goal of showing these customers how the products and services can be useful. They often perform instructional demonstrations of these products at trade shows. Marketing engineers also work closely with advertising and marketing teams to explain how products work so that these team members can better market these products.
Qualification and Requirement
· BSC in engineering preferable Mechanical Engineering and good second level qualification in Business, Marketing or Engineering related discipline.
· Minimum FIVE year Experience Sales and Marketing Engineer.
· Excellent knowledge and experience in
Oil and Gas Equipment manufacturing.
Job role:
•Searching for new clients who might benefit from company products or services and maximizing client potential in designated regions.
•Developing long-term relationships with clients through managing and interpreting their requirements.
•Establishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers.
•Managing and interpreting customer requirements.
•Persuading clients that a product or service will best satisfy their needs.
•Calculating client quotations.
•Negotiating tender and contract terms.
•Negotiating and closing sales by agreeing terms and conditions.
•Offering after-sales support services.
•Administering client accounts.
•Analyzing costs and sales.
•Preparing reports for Management.
•Meeting regular sales targets.
•Recording and maintaining client contact data.
•Supporting marketing by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events.
•Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs
•Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education
•Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts.
•Solving client problems
•Helping in the design of custom-made products
•Providing training and producing support material for the sales team.
•Persuading clients that a product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery.
•Negotiating tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs.
•Calculating client quotations and administering client accounts.
•Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education, and after-sales support services.
•Analyzing costs and sales.
•Meeting regular sales targets and coordinating sales projects.
Knowledge and Skills:
· Computer literate with a working knowledge.
· Good project management knowledge.
· Excellent interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work to tight deadlines.
· Very good communication skills.
· Good presentation skills.
· Experience of staff management.
· Solid technical background.
· A problem solver.
· Strong knowledge in cost preparation.
· Excellent logistic knowledge.
General conditions:
- Candidate must be exempted or completed national service.
