  | Re: وعندها إبتسم الله كطفل صقير من كاودا ! (Re: على زين العابدين) | | When God Smiled Like a Young Child from Kauda

A birth of fifteen Sudanese national heroes.

An attempt for a last prayer.

 It's all over.

We do not have enough to be.

It has been told that when a brave young man or woman is forced to stop

breathing, he/she will become a dream. A three dimensional colourful

dream. Often the dream may take the form of a star, a shooting star, a

 meteor.

It has been told that if a heart of a brave young woman or man is

forcefully stopped from beating, she/he will instantly become a

mountain, a mountain so high and so real.

It has been told that when the brain of a young brave child is raped and

forced to quit creating, this child will become a God. A God so

glorious, so wise, so Sudanese and so Nuba.

On the seventh of February, the year two thousand, Roda Ismail, Ruza

Dabiel, Munira Khamis, Randa Abualla, William Abualla, Maima Tutu, Kaka

Ali,Tabitha Hamdam, Francis Peter, Hamid Yousif, Hydar Osman, Kubi

Yousif, Bashir Ismail, Osman Rajab, and Kuri Abdel Gadir, were our stars, our

shooting stars, our meteors. When they stopped breathing, they were

 that dream.

Before the hearts of Roda, Ruza, Munira, Randa, William, Maima, Kaka,

Tabitha, Francis, Hamid, Hydar, Kubi, Bashir, Osman, and Kuri, before

their hearts were collectively forced to stop beating when the sound

evil crossed the sky. A loud sin.

The fifteen hearts were collectively beating louder.

Collectively heard. The fifteen young heart beats

were heard across the earth, the sky and the oceans.

Across time. Their heart beats heard since the beginning of time.

 Then there were rivers of

blood, red blood, a cadmium red blood.

This is were the Nuba Mountains sit.

And when their brains were forced to stop they became Gods. So

powerful, so creatively preoccupied with the creation of the New Sudan.

There can be no New Sudan in which there are no new national Heroes.

Roda Ismail, Ruza Dabiel, Munira Khamis, Randa Abualla, William Abualla,

Maima Tutu, Kaka Ali,Tabitha Hamdam, Francis Peter, Hamid Yousif, Hyder

Osmsn, Kubi yousif, Hydar Osman, Kubi Yousif, Bashir Ismail, Osman Rajab, and

Kuri Abdel Gadir, are the national heroes of the New Sudan. They are

 my National Heroes.

To the supporters of the New Sudan, to the freedom fighters, lovers of

justice and equality: these fourteen Sudanese students and their

teacher are an immolation for a better future, for a better us.

An attempt for a last prayer.

May we bow with respect, and plan for a new national holiday for our

new national heroes. May historians document our heroes' glorious lives.

May artists create memorials, and poets and novelists tell the story. May

we start naming streets, schools, and classrooms after each of our

 fifteen heroes.

May we start naming our newborn children after them. I will.

When we do that God will smile like a young child from Kauda.

I spoke out, and I spoke loud.

 out, and I spoke loud.
